Hi, I’m Jacqueline.

Artist, mom, and collector of beautiful moments.

I’ve always been someone who notices the details.

The flowers spilling over a garden wall. A perfectly striped umbrella on the Italian coast. A beautiful old house. The dress someone wore to dinner. The stuffed animal tucked under a little arm every night.

I think the things we love and the places, people, and objects we collect along the way tell the story of who we are.

I paint those stories.

Lily & Rose Studio grew out of a season when I was trying to find my way back to myself. I became a mother in 2020, and shortly afterward, the corporate retail career I had spent years building came to an unexpected end.

So I started painting.

Not because I had a plan to become an artist, but because creating made me feel like myself again. What began as a creative outlet at my kitchen table slowly became something much bigger.

Today, I create original paintings and heirloom commissions inspired by travel, family, home, and the little things we never want to forget.

My Italian-American heritage and travels are an endless source of inspiration. The saturated colors of a Mediterranean summer, old gardens and villas, painted ceramics, beach umbrellas, overflowing bougainvillea, and all those imperfect details that make a place unforgettable.

But I’m just as inspired by the things waiting for me at home.

A child’s beloved lovey. Flowers clipped from the garden. An object picked up on a trip years ago. The way art, books, textiles and family treasures slowly come together to make a home feel like yours.

And the name?

Lily Rose is my daughter’s name.

Rose is also my middle name, a name that has been passed through my family for generations. When I chose Lily & Rose, I had no idea how much meaning the name would eventually hold or how much motherhood, memory and family would become intertwined with my work.

Maybe that’s why I’m drawn to painting things people want to keep.

I believe the best art does more than fill an empty wall. It makes you feel something. It reminds you where you’ve been, who you love, and the life you’re building around you.

When I’m not painting, I’m probably rearranging something in our home, buying flowers I don’t need, planning our next trip, getting dressed for dinner with girlfriends, or spending time with my husband and daughter here in Houston.

Lily & Rose is where all of those pieces of my life come together.
